Speakers' profiles:
Alan Davis (USA) is the Founding Member and President of i5 Services. For the last 15 years Alan Davis has been helping companies like Wal-mart, British Airways, RiteAid, PepBoys, Overland West, and Headwaters set and exceed recovery, savings, and improvement goals. The largest project recovered $40 million per year and deterred over $120 million of loss annually. Alan started i5 Services with the goal of helping many companies reach comparable results. His background in technology and finance has helped him excel in global operations management, strategic planning, P&L accountability, executive level program management, and multi-function initiative leadership. He has directed business transformation, process improvement and BPR, BPO and off-shoring, and business and IT alignment including thought leadership participation for governance models.
David Spiteri Gingell set up David Spiteri Gingell Consulting in 2007, which was incorporated as DSG Consulting Ltd on 15th September 2011.
David Spiteri Gingell held a series of high level appointments with the Government of Malta which include Executive Chairman of the Malta Information Technology Agency; Chief Executive Officer of Enemalta Corporation; Executive Chairman of the Malta Council for Science and Technology (MCST); and the Chairman of EuroMedITI Ltd.
David was appointed on various boards including Vice President of the Foundation in Medical Services (1997-1998); Council of the University of Malta (2006-2008); Malta Electronic Certification Services Ltd (2006-2008) amongst others.
David holds a BA (Hons) in Public Administration from the University of Malta and a Master of Public Administration (with Distinction) from the University of Liverpool in the United Kingdom.
Paul Borg Costanzi joined the DSG Consulting Ltd team in 2012 as Managing Consultant having previously been employed as Chief Operations Officers and Chief Technical Consultant with Loqus (previously Datatrak). Prior to his Paul spent 14 years as Managing Consultant with Deloitte. He has had important roles in a wide variety of high implementation positions. He has been involved in the IT field ever since graduated with Honours in Computer Science from Manchester University in 1987.
Paul commenced the Microsoft Certified Professional certification status in October 1997 and gained certification as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, a Microsoft Certified Database Administrator, a Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator and a Microsoft Certified Trainer. Paul is also a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, a Microsoft Certified Trainer and a Prince2 Certified Practitioner.
